STORYTELLING

STORYTELLING

I am a firm believer that to create long-lasting relationships, in business and in life, there needs to be an emotional connection. Nothing strengthens a brand like a story that connects with the viewer. Here are a few documentary style projects I’ve worked on in recent years.

The Story Collector

We told the story of Field Test Coordinator and Product Specialist Harald Born and his commitment to collecting Fjällräven products that are 30, 40, even 60 years old. Plus, their stories. With them, he can see, touch and feel where the brand has been – and envision what it can do going forward.

Fjällräven Polar

Watch what happened when 20 ordinary people from all over the world came together for a 300km dog sledding expedition across Arctic Scandinavia in April 2023. Fjällräven Polar is an annual expedition developed to show that with the right knowledge, equipment and support, anyone can learn to appreciate nature – even in Arctic winter conditions. Polar proves that anyone can become an Arctic explorer.

Power To Be

Everyone belongs in nature. Period. But the fact of the matter is there are barriers to nature. Power To Be however, believes that access to nature is a fundamental right, and is working hard to remove cognitive, physical, social and financial barriers to nature for youth, families and adults. An award-winning non-profit organisation based in British Columbia, Canada, they operate on the principles that physical activity in the outdoors is vital to health and happiness, can broaden personal horizons and create opportunities for transformative experiences. With Power To Be, people gain literacy in nature and are inspired to live meaningfully.

The Importance of Curiosity

Explorer Francois Malherbe uses the ancient art of tracking wild animals on foot to help young people better understand the basic principles of curiosity and teach them about exploration. Here, he explains his work and why he thinks curiosity is the key to a more empathetic world.
